GIRL POWER WALK - HUGE SUCCESS
What a day yesterday!! Well done and thank you to everyone involved in the walks yesterday and thank you to those who have donated to our 'Girls Project' so far. Incredible photos and amazing to see the ladies in Magadi joining the mission to help our girls.

At the Memusi Foundation our target is to get every child we can reach into the education system. In Maasai culture it is very common for girls to drop out of school due to financial struggles, family duties and arranged marriages. Here at the Memusi Foundation we are continually taking steps to encourage girls to stay in education through the following:
♀ Increasing awareness on the benefits of educating females within the community
♀ Providing financial support to girls moving onto secondary school
♀ Providing extra support to adolescent girls including female hygiene products.
We are looking to continue this support to the girls by also helping provide on site boarding facilities…as many of you know, we've always wanted to build dormitories on site at the school for the girls.
More than anything, we need to keep our girls safe and in school!
