PALLET HOME KENYA UPDATE

Our initial testing on the Pallet Home project has been really successful and has resulted in us now having extensive information to feedback into the process that will allow us to progress the design to a more advanced stage. We have therefore extended our project programme to allow more time to develop the engineering detail in collaboration with Buro Happold, who have selected our project to develop Virtual Reality structural modelling using the Google Cardboard software.

This autumn we are focusing on the sustainability aspect of Pallet Homes and are currently working on establishing links with suppliers of the pallets in Kenya.

Therefore we are now planning to undertake our pilot test build in West Yorkshire in the spring of 2018 and the first build in Kenya in November 2018.
